If you're wondering why 2 stars, because it will load, but. I was suckered into buying this because I just wanted it to play Blu-rays, but it can not even do that well enough to finish an episode of Game of Thrones. Sometimes it does, and when it does it fails, typically within the first 10 minutes. I've tried movies, I've tried data such as disks with game client backups, etc. Then there is the other problem, it will not load CDs or DVDs. I thought perhaps the problem was the Blu-ray disk but I think after trying 3 or 4 different disks we both know you can eliminate that. I've used the extra plug to provide more power, as the manufacturer states, but did not help.
I have yet to watch more than 20 minutes of a video with this drive. Sometimes it will play, sometimes it won't load the disk, sometimes it starts playing and then fails. However, once I resolved that issue I tried this drive on two different PCs and have had unreliable results. This was the first problem I ran into, but that's not the manufacturer's fault.
